Web apps and custom software

Custom web application development for the way your business works

Customer portals, internal tools, dashboards, booking systems and SaaS products, designed around your process and built to scale.

Web Apps & Custom Software by RHL Web

Off-the-shelf software is built for the average company. When your process does not fit the tool, your team ends up working around it with spreadsheets, copy and paste, and manual checks. Custom software removes that friction by fitting the way you actually work.

RHL Web designs and develops web applications from idea to launch. We start by understanding the problem, agree on the smallest version that delivers value, and then build in short, visible steps so you can see progress and change direction early.

What we build

  • Customer and partner portals
  • Admin panels and reporting dashboards
  • Booking, scheduling and reservation systems
  • CRM, inventory and order management tools
  • SaaS products and MVPs for startups
  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Integrations with payment, email and accounting services
  • Modernization of legacy systems and spreadsheets

Why choose RHL Web

Made to fit

Software shaped around your workflow, your terminology and your rules, instead of the other way round.

Secure by design

Authentication, role-based access, encrypted connections, input validation and audit trails are planned from the start.

Ready to grow

A clean architecture and cloud hosting mean the application can handle more users and new features without a rewrite.

From idea to working product

Many projects start with a rough idea or a process that has outgrown its spreadsheet. You do not need a technical specification to get in touch. In a discovery session we map the users, the main tasks and the data involved, and turn that into a prioritized feature list with an estimate for each part.

For startups, we recommend launching a minimum viable product (MVP): the smallest version that real users can try. It costs less, reaches the market sooner and tells you what to build next based on evidence rather than guesses.

Technology that lasts

We build with widely adopted, well-supported technology such as TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases and hosting on modern cloud platforms. Choosing mainstream tools matters: it keeps your application maintainable, makes it easy to hire for, and avoids lock-in to any single developer or vendor, including us.

You own the code

The source code, documentation and infrastructure accounts belong to you. The code lives in a repository you control, and every release is documented so another developer could pick it up. We also offer ongoing maintenance and feature development for clients who want a long-term technical partner.

How we work

Our process

  1. Discover

A free call to understand your business, your customers and what the project must achieve.

  2. Plan and design

A written proposal with scope, timeline and fixed price, followed by designs you approve before we build.

  3. Build and test

Development in short steps with regular previews, tested on real devices for speed, security and accessibility.

  4. Launch and grow

A careful launch, training for your team, and ongoing support, SEO and improvements as you grow.

Web Apps & Custom Software: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a website and a web application?

A website mainly presents information. A web application lets users do things: sign in, manage data, make bookings, pay, generate reports. If your project involves user accounts and business logic, it is a web application. Our article on websites, web apps and mobile apps explains the difference in detail.

How much does custom software cost?

It depends on the scope. After a discovery session you receive a proposal that breaks the project into phases with a fixed price for each, so you can start small and control the budget. Larger projects can also be run on a monthly basis.

Do I need a detailed specification before contacting you?

No. A description of the problem you want to solve is enough. Part of our job is helping you turn it into a clear scope, and asking the questions that uncover requirements early.

Who owns the source code?

You do. On final payment, full ownership of the code and design is transferred to you, and it is hosted in accounts you control.

Can you take over or improve an existing application?

Yes. We start with a review of the code and infrastructure, report what we find, and propose a plan: fix and stabilize, improve step by step, or rebuild the parts that hold the product back.
